Paul Shortino - Chasing My Dream

Am 26. Juni bringt Paul Shortino der schon Sänger von nahmhaften Bands wie Rough Cutt/The Cutt, Quiet Riot, Bad Boyz, zusammen mit JK Northrup oder als Solokünstler war, seine neue CD auf den Markt. *Chasing My Dreams* heisst das gute Stück und ich bin ja gespannt wie ein Häftlimacher, wie die ganze Scheibe stimmlich daherkommt. Er war nämlich seines Zeichens mal einer meiner Lieblingssänger und 2 Platten beeinflusste nach Erscheinen meinen ganzen musikalischen Werdegang. Als Hörer versteht sich ;-).
1988 mit Quiet Riots selbstbetitelter Platte und seine erste CD *Back On Track* als Duo Shortino/Northrup im Jahre 1993. Mit zunehmendem Alter schwächelte seine überragende Stimme und kam nie mehr an seine grosse Zeit heran. Und nun im Jahre 2009, 56-jährig, geschieht vielleicht ein Neuanfang zusammen mit Michael Voss!

Shortino's newest collaboration is an album with world renown producer Michael Voss (Casanova, Silver). Shortino adds, “The new tracks are amazing. I have a renewed inspiration to write and record music that comes from within. I am looking forward to touring and performing the new material for all the fans. We have a smokin' hot band that can really deliver and put on a show. Quite honestly, I can't wait.”
