Nach dem Soloprojekt von Joe Elliot mit Down 'N' Outz im letzten Jahr hat nun das lange Warten am 30. Oktober ein Ende. Die Welt wird endlich mit einer neuen Def Leppard s/t-Langrille beglückt. Hell Yeah!!!!!!!!
So let's go and let's listen into the opener. Es ist als wären sie nie weg gewesen. Unglaublich kuhl. Klassische Rockgitarrenriffs und Chorus Lines zum Mitsingen.

Die Scheibe *Songs From The Sparkle Lounge* von Def Leppard ist endlich im Verkaufsladen angekommen. Das Jahr 2008 wird immer besser, echt ein guter Jahrgang. ;-)
6 Jahre hat's gedauert. Aber jetzt, jetzt wird wie in den guten alten Zeiten und in unnachahmlicher Def Leppard Art aberockt. Sie zeigen einmal mehr, wieso sie eine der grössten Rockbands aller Zeiten sind. Well done. Eine CD die jeden Palyer zum qualmen bringt und daher ein "must have" ist, nicht nur für Fans.
Die erste Single daraus war übrigens *Nine Lives* featuring US-Superstar Tim McGraw. (Siehe unten das Video)
Für die Werbung wurde eigens eine Internetseite gemacht. Viel Spass.

Whitesnakes Neue

Eine Rockikone wie Whitesnake oder eben David Coverdale muss man einfach mögen. Endlich endlich gibts wieder News zum neuen Album *Good To Be Bad* welches Ende April in Europa via SPV/Steamhammer auf den Markt kommen soll.
8 Rocksongs und 3 Balladen beinhaltet die CD. Ich bin ja sowas von gespannt auf die Scheibe, dass ich vor Freude fast in die Hose mache. Coverdale mit seiner Stimme verkörpert für mich eben doch the real rock n' roll und er prägte mich in allem was der Rock beinhaltet. Die Stimme des charismatischen Sängers ist DIE Rockstimme schlechthin.
Leider kommen sie auf der Tour nicht in die Schweiz, weder alleine noch mit der Def Leppard Truppe. Sniff ich will auch..........

Was für ein Musikstil spielen Souljourners? Fast unbeschreiblich. Hard Rock mit klassischen Einflüssen. Die Keyboardpassagen sind schon speziell und waren schon früher nie meine Spezialität. Ich fand Keyboards für eine Rockband total überflüssig. Aber in dieser Art tönt es verdammt gut. Sind sie so innovativ, dass sie gleich noch ihren eigenen, neuen, futuristischen Stil kreieren? Prog Rock gemixt mit Keyboard/Klavier ist evolutionär oder wieder ein Schritt zurück in die 70er? Sie gehen aber neue Wege und das macht ihre Musik so spannend. Am besten hört ihr selber rein und bildet euch eure eigene Meinung. Der Song *Crayze Times* spielten sie übrigens mit Gitarist Phil Collen von Def Leppard ein.
Das Jahr 2007 könnte doch tatsächlich der Durchbruch der Jungs aus Kalifornien gewesen sein. Nicht umsonst wurden sie als beste Live Band bei den Inland Empire Music Awards auserkoren.
